Jeremy Clarkson worries about Lewis Hamilton

Jeremy Clarkson is famous not only for his television projects, which are consistently popular with viewers in many countries, but also for the fact that he is the author of two dozen books, and his column on a variety of topics is regularly published on the pages of the London tabloid The Sun.

This time, Jeremy, after denouncing the economic policy of the British government in every possible way, switched to Formula 1 and spoke very harshly about Lewis Hamilton, who now plays for Ferrari. You can argue with Clarkson, you can agree, but there is some truth in his words – judge for yourself.…

"It's important for everyone in Formula 1 that Ferrari does well, because all the other teams are in business, but Ferrari means a lot more, because it's both the heart and the soul," he writes. – Therefore, it was extremely important that Lewis Hamilton, the new driver of the team, immediately flew like a shell fired from a cannon.

How nice it would be if this happened in China, in front of a huge crowd of fans who consider him God-fearing. And, damn it, that's exactly what happened. Last Saturday in Shanghai, this Formula 1 elder won pole position, after which he broke away from the peloton and won the sprint.

But here's what's interesting and disturbing at the same time: just a few hours after Lewis made all the headlines, he posted only 5th place in the main qualifying of the weekend. And in Sunday's Grand Prix he was so slow that he allowed his team-mate to overtake him. And then he was also disqualified.

How is this possible? I can still understand that a car can be fast on one track, but it won't be much use on another track next weekend. But when does this happen on the same track, and even on the same day? Then even a resounding success loses its meaning."
