Liam Lawson: I am happy to be working with Racing Bulls again.

Isaac Hajjar: "I am very happy to be back in Japan. I have already raced at Suzuka, and although it was a long time ago, I still consider this track my favorite, along with Monaco. I think, having driven Formula 1 here for the first time, I will feel its high-speed character even more vividly.

We had a good pace in the first two race weekends, and we hope to build on that success and fight for more points."

Liam Lawson: "I'm looking forward to the Suzuka race – it's one of my favorite tracks on the calendar. It's very fast, especially for Formula 1 cars.

New opportunities are opening up for me this weekend - I have rejoined Racing Bulls, and I am very happy to work with this team. As always, I'll give it my all."

Alan Permane, Racing Director: "New asphalt has been laid on about half of the track compared to last year, and getting to know its characteristics and tire wear will be one of the main tasks for Friday's practice sessions.

The Suzuka stage is one of the most difficult challenges for the car, the driver and the tyres during the season. On one lap, there are almost all types of turns – from fast to delayed medium-speed, there is a quick change of direction, sudden braking and a narrow chicane with curbs.

VCARB 02 has proven itself well on the previous two tracks, but the fight in the middle group is very tight, and we will have to work hard to show a good result in qualifying and turn it into points on Sunday.

We welcome Liam back to the team, and he knows this track well from his performances in SuperFormula. We hope that he and Isaac will work together to maximize the car's potential here and in the remaining races of the season."
