Marko: Tsunoda will stay until the end of the season
Red Bull consultant Helmut Marko confirmed in an interview with ORF that Yuki Tsunoda will remain Max Verstappen's team-mate at least until the end of the season.
Helmut Marko: "The settings that Max uses are suitable for Yuki. They have the same preferences, they are well suited to each other as partners.
It's important for us to earn points with two cars. It's a pity that Yuki didn't score points in Suzuka, but he was no more than two or three tenths behind Max in training, and he did well in qualifying and the race. It's a great achievement when you don't have any experience working with this machine. Tsunoda will remain at Red Bull until the end of the season."
