Carlos Sainz: It's nice to see the team's progress

After three stages of the season, Williams is fifth in the Constructors' Cup, leading the middle group of teams. Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz are determined to have another productive weekend at the upcoming Bahrain Grand Prix.

Alex Albon: "The start of the season turned out to be really strong – at every stage I reached the finals and earned points. We want to keep up the pace in Bahrain, in the second race of the extended series, which will be held in completely different conditions compared to the previous races of this season.

The team is working hard and we hope to perform strongly in the fourth race. The team has made significant progress – it's nice to see us at the head of the fight for leadership in the middle group! The first night race of the season always brings a unique atmosphere, and I'm interested to see what results we'll achieve on a track with artificial lighting."

Carlos Sainz: "Summing up the results of the Japanese Grand Prix, it should be noted that it is pleasant to see the progress of the team. On a difficult track in Suzuka, our car was at a very good level.

As for me, despite the final result, there were a lot of positive things last week, so I can't wait to get back behind the wheel in Bahrain.

It will be interesting to see how we will look on the track where we conducted pre-season tests. The conditions will be completely different this weekend, as it will be much hotter than during the tests. I want to get to work and have a great weekend. Let's get to work!"
