Dino Beganovic: I will do everything to help the team
In Bahrain, 21-year-old Swede Dino Beganovich, a member of the Ferrari Racing Academy, will replace Charles Leclair during Friday's first practice session, and ahead of this debut at the wheel of the SF-25, the Italian team's press service asked him a couple of questions.
Question: What can we say about the features of the Bahrain circuit?Dino Beganovic: Everyone knows the track in Bahrain well, because the teams are working there on tests. If we talk about its characteristics, then there is a little bit of everything, including high-speed and slow turns, as well as its surface provides a high level of grip, which leads to increased loads on the tires. On this track, we want to ensure that the car allows us to use the rubber resource economically.
The weather in Bahrain is often windy, which can significantly affect piloting, and thanks to the combination of a wide variety of turns, the equipment of all teams will be well tested there.
Question: What is your mood before your first official training session behind the wheel of the SF-25?Dino Beganovich: My dream is coming true! Many drivers would like to get behind the wheel of a Ferrari, and I am very happy that I will have this opportunity. I have set myself a very ambitious goal to become a Scuderia racer someday, but I am doing everything in my power to achieve it. That's why I'm now fully focused on competing in Formula 2 for the Hitech team.
The Ferrari Racing Academy provides me with very important support, helping me improve my professional skills, and I can't wait to get behind the wheel of a car. My mindset is this: I will try to have fun, and I will also do my best to help the team.
