McLaren wants to win the Triple Crown again in 2027.

      In 2027, the McLaren factory team will make its debut in the Hypercar class in the World Endurance Racing Championship, and we talked about it. Zach Brown, executive director of McLaren Racing, promised in an address to the fans that his team would try to repeat its own unique achievement: to win the Triple Crown again, but to do it in one year.

      Zach Brown: "McLaren Racing fans, we're coming back! We are returning to the World Endurance Racing Championship to fight for victory in the overall 24 Hours of Le Mans.

      We will be joining the Hypercar class in 2027, and we are very excited about this prospect. McLaren made its Le Mans debut 30 years ago, and we won right away, and in a car that wasn't even supposed to be racing.

      Thanks to that success, we became the only team in history to win the Triple Crown, i.e. the Monaco Grand Prix, the Indy 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. And today's great news suggests that we will now attempt to win all three races in one year.

      That's exactly our attitude, we're ready for it, so I'll see you on the track!"
