Felipe Drugovic will replace Nick de Vries in Formula E.

      Aston Martin reserve driver Felipe Drugovic will replace Nick Devries in Formula E as part of the Mahindra team.

      Felipe will drive an electric racing car during the double stage in Berlin in mid-July. The reason for the substitution is that on the same weekend (July 12-13) there is a stage of the FIA WEC season in Sao Paulo, in which de Vries will participate as part of Toyota.

      The day before, Drugovich conducted tests with Mahindra at the wheel of a Gen3 Evo car in Spain at the autodromo in Granada. Felipe has previously piloted a Formula E car, but only as part of tests with Maserati. Thus, in three months, the Brazilian will hold his debut race in the electric series. Moreover, this will be the first time for Drugovich to participate in a Formula race since winning the Formula 2 title in 2022.

      An official statement on the replacement is expected soon.
