George Russell (7th): "Due to traffic and a few attempts when we didn't choose the right trains, there weren't many clean laps. We tried several settings on our machines, which was useful for me and for Kimi. I think we have found a direction in which we will move on.

We probably looked better in the first training session than in the second, we didn't take the step forward that we expected, but we'll improve tonight so that we can return to the fight in better shape tomorrow.

It was disappointing that because of the red flag in the second practice session, it was not possible to collect information about a long series of laps, but the red flags were for everyone."

Kimi Antonelli (11th): "A difficult day. We didn't get many clean laps, but I'm happy with what we were able to achieve. We worked on many details, and I felt more confident, which is important on this track, where you need to attack close to the barriers.

Overall, everything went well, although I ended up too close to the wall on Soft tyres at the exit of the last corner on the last lap.

I'm looking forward to continuing the weekend. The results are very dense. We don't know which mode of operation of the power plant the opponents have chosen, so we need to focus on ourselves. We will work hard to come back in the best shape tomorrow."
