      Mercedes racer Kimi Antonelli has become the hero of a new Netflix documentary.

      The streaming service will release a 45-minute documentary The Seat, which shows the key moments of how the team came to the decision to give the 18-year-old Italian a seat behind the wheel after the departure of Lewis Hamilton.

      Toto Wolff, head of Mercedes: "Choosing Kimi as our driver for 2025 was, as documented in The Seat, an important decision. We are pleased to provide Formula 1 fans around the world with a unique opportunity to show how we came to this turning point in the team's history."

      The Seat will be available for viewing from May 5th.
