Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly were called to the stewards
After the finish of the Miami Grand Prix, the stewards summoned Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly for the proceedings. The Williams driver will have to answer for two potential violations.
Sainz's first challenge is due to the fact that he did not slow down enough in the area of the yellow flags. The second possible violation of Carlos is related to the fight with Lewis Hamilton on the last lap, when contact occurred between the cars in turn 17.
For each of these two possible violations, Carlos faces an increase in time to the result, which will lead to the loss of two earned points.
Pierre Gasly, who finished thirteenth, was called to the stewards for not slowing down enough in the yellow flag area.
