Max Verstappen does not hide his interest in endurance racing, and he has his own team that competes in the GT World Challenge Endurance championship.

Today, the reigning world champion got behind the wheel of a Ferrari 296 GT3 for official tests before the third stage of the ADAC Nurburgring Langstrecken-Series season, taking place on the "Northern Loop" of the Nurburgring.

According to Auto Motor und Sport, Max just wanted to drive a few laps around the track for fun. The tests were supposed to remain secret – Verstappen piloted the car under the pseudonym "Franz Hermann", his own security was present on the track, and photographers were forbidden to be in the pits.
