Raikkonen will become an ambassador of the company from the Aland Islands
The Finnish business community is still interested in Kimi Raikkonen, although he ended his career in Formula 1 back in 2021. But the 2007 world champion remains in demand even now: today the Finnish press writes that he has signed a multi-year contract with PAF, which is based in the Aland Islands.
These islands are located in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland, and they have the status of a special autonomy within the Republic of Finland.
However, the agreements reached between this company and Raikkonen will come into force when and if it receives a license to organize a gambling business in Finland. The country's authorities are currently discussing such a prospect, and the licensing system for this type of business may be legalized from the beginning of 2027.
Kimi Raikkonen, commenting on the contract with PAF, made it clear that companies of this profile have repeatedly offered him cooperation, but until recently he refused.
"They did not arouse our interest. On the other hand, PAF impressed us, especially with its history, openness, responsible approach and Finnishness," Kimi said.
This company has been in existence for almost 60 years, and it has a license to install slot machines, organize casinos, bookmaking and lotteries, but only on the Aland Islands and on board cruise ships.
