Elbon: It's great that the European part of the season is starting
The Williams team has earned points in five of the past six stages of the season. Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz are counting on a productive performance at Imola this weekend.
Alex Albon: "Imola is a classic Formula 1 circuit with a rich history, so it's great that the European part of the season will start here.
We've managed to show some good results this year, so it's great to come to the European stage and earn points in Miami. We know that we have to do everything perfectly in order to continue to achieve the same results, so we need to do our best in this series."
Carlos Sainz: "I am looking forward to the European part of the season, where we will race on incredible circuits and city tracks. The first stage will be held in Imola on a historic track, where there are always opportunities to show a good result. Qualifying is important on this track because overtaking in Imola is not so easy.
The team learned a lot in Miami, so I expect to keep up the pace and have a strong weekend."
