Ayo Komatsu, Team principal: "The Monaco stage is a special event on the Formula 1 calendar. Racing through the streets of Monte Carlo is a difficult challenge for drivers, and the atmosphere this weekend is always special. In Monaco, a driver's confidence in the car is important, so in the first practice session we will try to create a stable and consistent platform to prepare for qualifying, the key session of the weekend.
This year, after the amendments to the regulations, everyone has to make two mandatory pit stops. This will slightly change the race strategy and make Sunday's race more interesting."
Oliver Berman: "I'm looking forward to this week in Monaco, where I live – it's my home stage. The Monaco Grand Prix is a unique event with a long history and a challenging track that requires high precision in driving. It's bumpy and relatively slow, which poses new challenges for the engineers, but I really want to perform there and hope that the fans will enjoy it as much as we do.
The most interesting thing in Monaco usually happens in Saturday qualifying, but I think it will be an interesting race with two mandatory pit stops this year."
Esteban Ocon: "I have incredible memories of the podium in Monaco in 2023, and since then this stage has become even more special for me. French is spoken in Monaco, and for me it's also a bit of a home stage. I have many friends in this region, I love being there, and participating in a street race is a real privilege.
In Monaco, you attack by driving close to the barriers, if you manage, the weekend can be a success, if not, a failure. It's important to put everything together on this track, and Saturday is crucial, even with two mandatory pit stops in the race."
