Bortoleto: I will do my best in Monaco

The Imola stage was the sixth in a row in which Sauber did not score points. The team hopes that they will have a better chance of finishing in the top ten on the Monaco city track.

Jonathan Wheatley: "Monaco always excites the imagination with its atmosphere and unique track history. This year, a new touch has been added to the legacy: for the first time in the race, there will be two mandatory pit stops, which means that the data collected and decision-making will be more important than ever.

Monaco is a difficult weekend both on and off the track. Narrow streets and narrow turns leave almost no room for mistakes, but when everything works out, the rewards are more significant.

After the race, we carefully reviewed the data collected and the decisions made during the race. I believe that we did not give the riders the maximum opportunity, but, as always, we will take measures to fix it."

Nico Hulkenberg: "Monaco is like no other race and definitely one of my favorites. I like waking up in my bed in the morning and riding my scooter to the track.

The races themselves are very difficult here and require extremely precise piloting. I wonder what effect the two mandatory pit stops will have.

We want to keep a positive attitude after a clean and well-run race at Imola. Of course, the team still has a lot of work to do, so we will continue to make efforts to improve the car and consistently fight for points."

Gabriel Bortoleto: "It's great to race in Monaco – the atmosphere, the history and the difficulty of driving make this a truly iconic weekend. After Imola, the team worked hard to prepare for the stage, and I went to the base in Hinwil to spend time on the simulator.

Last weekend didn't go exactly as I expected, but there were some positive moments, especially when it comes to pace. I'm happy to get back on the track, study every turn and give my best."
