Verstappen skips the premiere of the official F1 film.

"It's not something that genuinely excites me."

Max Verstappen has declined an invitation to a private screening in Monaco of the new 'F1' feature film starring Brad Pitt. Eighteen out of the twenty drivers attended the screening on Wednesday, with Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll also noticeably absent, most of them adhering to the request to wear team gear. Interestingly, both Ferrari drivers and Fernando Alonso opted for casual attire. However, the four-time world champion and Imola winner Verstappen, 27, went even further by live streaming from his simulator in his nearby Monaco apartment at the same time. He has a new Twitch account called 'FranzHermann69,' a humorous reference to the alias he chose for his recent GT3 test in a Ferrari at the challenging Nordschleife.

Recently, Verstappen revealed that he declined offers to participate in several scenes of the 'F1' movie, which is co-produced by Lewis Hamilton, alongside Hollywood star Pitt. "It's not something that truly excites me," the Dutch driver emphasized. "We talked about it," Verstappen mentioned regarding the invitation for several cameo appearances, "but in the end, it didn't happen. But that's okay. That's not why I'm here."

With 65 grand prix victories and counting, Verstappen increasingly emphasizes the distinction between his professional life in Formula 1 and his personal life. "Once I leave the paddock, I no longer think about it," Verstappen stated. "I'm occupied, which keeps me away from all the rumors or potential events that occur. I'm not interested."
