Hamilton: Flexible wings are a patch for unsuccessful rules

Lewis Hamilton does not agree with the gradual tightening of the rules in the fight against the flexibility of the wings. The seven-time world champion called the flexible wings "a patch for an unsuccessful technical regulation" and believes that the FIA chose the wrong path.

Lewis Hamilton: "To be honest, I do not know why this happened. Flexible wings are a great idea. Some teams implemented it earlier, others later, but overall it was positive. When I was driving for Mercedes, and last year we received this decision, it immediately helped. Flexible wings have made this generation of cars much more enjoyable to pilot, and I think it's wrong to abandon this idea.

In the end, flexible wings became a kind of "patch" on the unsuccessful technical regulations. It will be interesting to see how these measures will affect different teams. Some will lose more, others less, but I have no idea how the balance of power will change.

Toto Wolff believes that this will help Ferrari. I hope he's right."
