Sebastian Montoya has become a part of A14 Management.
Fernando Alonso's newest protégé is now on the extended journey toward Formula 1. The standout driver of the two-time champion’s management firm, A14 Management, is Sauber newcomer Gabriel Bortoleto. During Alonso's home Grand Prix in Spain, the 20-year-old Brazilian expressed his gratitude towards the Aston Martin driver for helping him reach the grid.
"Fernando has been a tremendous support for me since Formula 3," he remarked to DAZN. "He aided my transition to F3 and then to Formula 2, offering me invaluable advice. He’s been exceptional for me," Bortoleto noted in Barcelona. "I'm very pleased to have him as my manager. No amount of money can equate to the knowledge I've gained from him, especially coming from one of the greatest of all time."
In addition to Bortoleto, Alonso's managing roster includes F2 racer Pepi Marti, Formula E competitor Maximilian Gunther, Dani Jucadella, among others. The latest addition to A14 carries a well-known last name - Montoya.
"A14 Management is delighted to announce that Sebastian Montoya has joined the company," Alonso's team announced during the weekend of the Spanish GP, where the 20-year-old, son of famous former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya, secured a P2 finish in the Formula 2 feature race.
