Mercedes will share its sponsorship with Adidas alongside Audi.

"The colors red and black are expected to be significant."

Audi is anticipated to join Formula 1 next year with Adidas branding and a red and black livery. This information comes from Germany's largest newspaper, Bild-Zeitung, which reports that Mercedes may have to share its Adidas sponsorship with another German brand. "The agreement is finalized and should be revealed in the upcoming weeks," the article states. "This marks Adidas's second major deal in just a few months."

As a result, Nico Hulkenberg, already part of Sauber as the team evolves into full Audi branding for 2026 and later, will be a German driver donning German attire while racing for a German team. However, Bild mentions that Audi is projected to receive about 25 million euros from Adidas next year, compared to the estimated 30 million that Mercedes is receiving.

The newspaper added: "It appears likely that the colors red and black will be prominent for Audi next year. There are paddock rumors that suggest these will be the primary colors for the cars. All that is left now is a bright future for the new German team."
