Mick Schumacher discloses 'discussions' with F1 teams.

"It remains a significant topic for me."

Mick Schumacher emphasizes that he is still "in discussions" regarding a potential return to Formula 1. The former Haas driver and Mercedes reserve, now fully engaged in the WEC and participating in Le Mans this weekend with Alpine, has frequently been associated with a comeback to F1. Currently, there are suggestions that he might be in contact with Alpine's F1 team or the new eleventh team, Cadillac, for 2026.

"It's still a significant topic for me," Schumacher, 26, stated to the German broadcaster ntv at Le Mans. "I am always in discussions about my future. I focus on it when I'm not at the race tracks and have the time to think about it."

Schumacher, whose father Michael is a seven-time world champion, affirmed that Formula 1 remains his "main goal in life - my lifelong dream."

"What I desire is to compete in Formula 1 and make a comeback there. That’s why I’m having discussions, although I haven't yet found any answers."

In a separate interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), he encouraged Formula 1 teams to consider him. "I believe the Formula 1 teams understand what I can offer," Schumacher remarked. "I can perform at the front in any car and be fast, as my performances this year illustrate."
