Piastri: In Silverstone, I'll show everything I'm capable of.

At the recent Austrian Grand Prix, the McLaren team achieved its fourth victory double of the season, and Lando Norris reduced the gap in the drivers' championship standings to Oscar Piastri to fifteen points. The championship leaders are ready to continue the battle at Silverstone.

Lando Norris: "Next race at Silverstone! My favorite weekend of the season and McLaren's home race. Moreover, the track itself is special, and my family, friends, and our supporters will be attending the Grand Prix — there will be so many that team support will reach a new level. I will definitely try to wave to the fans as I pass by, especially the Lando tribune, which I’ll be happy to see fully packed."

Considering everything, another important race weekend awaits us, and I want to achieve the maximum. After the result shown in Austria, I want to maintain the pace I’ve set and give our home fans a reason to celebrate."

Oscar Piastri: "The race in Austria turned out to be very encouraging — it was clear that we have the pace. We learned some new things, and at the British Grand Prix, I am ready to show everything I am capable of.

I’ve always been lucky to be warmly welcomed at Silverstone. It's great to be part of a team for whom this race is a home event. Thanks to everyone trackside and at the factory who did an excellent job with the car."

Andrea Stella, team principal: "This weekend is special for us, as it’s the home race for the team and Lando. It will be great to see many colleagues and fans in papaya colors in the stands. We hope to achieve a result worthy of celebration.

We have officially reached the halfway point of the 2025 season. It’s a good moment to assess the intense work that has brought us to the top of both championships, but there have also been challenges due to fierce competition from our rivals.

We will continue to focus on our own objectives, knowing that the rest of the season will require incredible efforts from all of us in this very competitive Formula 1 season."
