Pol Aron will conduct two Sauber driving trainings in July.
Paul Aron will conduct his debut Formula 1 test with Sauber at Silverstone, then return to drive the C45 at Hungaroring – an agreement was reached with Alpine F1, with which the 21-year-old Estonian cooperates as a reserve driver.
In 2023, Paul started racing in Formula 3 and finished the season in third place overall, made his debut in Formula 2 at the end of the year, and in 2024 competed in the entire championship, again finishing third. He attracted the attention of the factory team of the Renault group, after which Aron was invited to tests in Abu Dhabi and ultimately became Alpine's reserve driver.
But now he is preparing to drive Nico Hülkenberg's C45 and will conduct his first training session on the classic British track. The same will happen on the first race day in Hungary, where he will also drive a German driver's car.
