The F1 film grossed $144 million worldwide during the weekend.

The new F1 film starring Brad Pitt grossed $55.6 million in its first three days in US theaters, becoming the leader of the national box office, with worldwide box office reaching $144 million. Of course, these figures are expected to grow, partly because the film received a 97% positive audience rating on the popular site Rotten Tomatoes and 83% from professional critics. All this will further boost viewer interest, as such high ratings can be considered an endorsement of the film's quality, directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, with significant involvement from Lewis Hamilton, who served as co-producer and racing consultant. According to Entertainment Weekly, when such serious people are involved, the film's success should not be surprising, although it was not guaranteed. However, it seems that cinephiles really enjoyed the story about racing veteran Sonny Hayes, played by Pitt, returning to Formula 1 as part of the fictional team APXGP. Based on more than 3,600 local ratings from different countries, the film has topped the charts, and it is reported to be the most successful start ever for any film released by Apple Original Films. Besides the US and Canada, the film is being shown successfully on over 44,000 screens in 78 countries worldwide.
