Lando Norris: Everything I've dreamed of has come true!

      Lando Norris and his fans' dream came true: he added a victory at the British Grand Prix to his list of achievements...

      Lando Norris (1st): "This is wonderful! Everything I've dreamed of has come true! In terms of feelings and pride, this achievement can only be compared to winning a championship.

      My career started at Silverstone, and now I’ve managed to shine here too. The race was incredible, as always very tense, and thanks to all the fans – their support really helped me today!

      Right now, I just feel empty inside. Everything I could think of before the start, I’ve already forgotten during the race. The main thing was not to miss out on the victory, that’s rule number one.

      In the last laps, I was already looking at the crowd in the stands. I was just trying to remember all this, enjoy the moment because it may never happen again. Although I hope it will repeat itself. But I will cherish the memories of this victory forever, because it’s an absolutely incredible achievement."

      Oscar also had a good race – credit to him, he was fast throughout the distance and deserves applause too. I like the moments when we compete on the track, although I like it less when he's ahead than when he's behind me, but that’s life."

      Oscar Piastri (2nd): "I’m not going to say much, otherwise I’ll get into trouble. Congratulations to Nico Hülkenberg – I think he should be called Driver of the Day.

      I received a 10-second penalty for slowing down behind the safety car. It seems that when you're behind a safety car, you can’t brake anymore. I did the same thing five laps earlier. I still like Silverstone, even if I didn’t enjoy today’s race..."
