Adrian Newey is fully working on the 2026 Aston Martin car project. Fernando Alonso mentioned that the British engineer dedicates all his time to this project and is not involved in the modernization of the current car.
Fernando Alonso: "Adrian is actively working and fully involved in the project. He is very motivated, but he has no interest in this year's car at all.
Every time we ask Adrian about the 2025 car or try to improve something, he gets up from the table and walks into another room. He is completely focused on the 2026 car."
