Volf: After the summer break, we will shift our focus to 2026.

Formula 1 teams have two Grand Prix races left before the traditional summer break. On the eve of the Belgian Grand Prix, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff stated that after the break, the team will focus entirely on preparing for the 2026 season.

Toto Wolff: "The next two Grands Prix will give us the opportunity to maintain the momentum gained before the summer break. In the first twelve races of the season, we have been in the lead several times, while facing difficulties at other times. The team has concentrated all efforts on performing at a competitive level at every stage.

However, after the summer break, our attention will inevitably shift to preparing for 2026. The next two races are important for preparing the W16 car for different tracks and weather conditions.

Spa and Hungaroring will assist us in this work. These circuits are quite different in nature. Spa is characterized by elevation changes, fast corners, and changing weather. In contrast, the narrow and winding track in Budapest often experiences the highest temperatures of the season.

Our goal is to make significant progress with the car, optimize it every weekend, and fight for top results."
