Formula 2: Dann penalized, Lindblad disqualified
Alex Dunn, an Irish driver for Rodin Motorsport and a participant in McLaren's youth program, performed excellently in the Sunday Formula 2 race, and everyone saw him cross the finish line first at Spa. However, stewards identified a violation related to the setup choices before the race start, namely that he did not activate the prescribed mode before the peloton moved out for the formation lap behind the safety car. As a penalty, Dunn was given a 10-second time addition, which caused him to lose the victory, dropping him to 10th place in the main race results of the weekend and dropping him to 4th place in the F2 standings. Later, it was also revealed that Arvid Lindblad was disqualified because it was found that the tire pressure in car No. 4 was below the Pirelli-specified limit. Consequently, the victory was awarded to Romain Stanek, Ritu Mieta moved to second place, and Luke Brauning to third.
