Title partner announced as Audi gets ready for F1.
"We strongly believe in the success of our initiative."
Audi has announced that Revolut will be the title sponsor of its Formula 1 team starting in 2026, marking the first significant commercial agreement for the German manufacturer’s forthcoming official entry. This partnership was revealed this week alongside remarks from new team principal Jonathan Wheatley, who described it as "a strategic alliance" prior to the team's debut under the upcoming engine regulations. Revolut is at the forefront of an expanding roster of sponsors for the future Audi team, which will be established around the current Sauber framework in Hinwil. Audi's own power unit is under development in Neuburg.
The team has already secured partnerships for fuel and lubricants with bp and Castrol, and is anticipated to announce Adidas as its official apparel supplier soon. Audi CEO Gernot Dollner indicated that Formula 1 serves as a strategic flagship project for the company, stating, "We strongly believe in the success of our initiative." He added, "In Revolut, we have found a partner that shares our ambitions and approach." Audi will take over the Sauber entry in 2026, functioning as a complete factory team under the new chassis and engine regulations.
