Red Bull Racing received a warning.

Considering the circumstances of the incident involving Max Verstappen during the second practice session, when he discarded a towel left in the cockpit onto the track, the stewards issued only a warning. Max explained to the stewards that the towel had slipped from his knees onto the side of the seat in the garage, and the team was unaware that it remained in the cockpit. Noticing the towel, he shifted to the right to discard it as far away from the car and track as possible. The stewards concluded that the towel could have become lodged in the pedal area and hindered the driver's control of the car. Additionally, he discarded a soft towel rather than a rigid object that could have been potentially dangerous. Therefore, they limited their action to a warning to the team for sending the car onto the track in an unsafe condition.
