Max Verstappen: Car problems remain a mystery
Max Verstappen posted the eighth fastest time in the Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying. Commenting on the session's results, the reigning world champion stated that the car lacked speed throughout the weekend. His teammate at Red Bull Racing, Yuki Tsunoda, was eliminated in the first session and explained his result by the lack of grip with the track. Max Verstappen (8th): "It seems we haven't found a way to gain more speed. Together with the team, we've tried many things, but unfortunately, nothing helped improve the balance. It's hard for me to explain why we've unexpectedly encountered so many problems with the car this weekend. The front and rear tires just don't have grip with the track, we can't find the balance, and so on. All of this remains a mystery to us." Yuki Tsunoda (16th): "The car was constantly sliding on the track — it simply didn't have the necessary grip. Probably, we're missing something. Throughout the weekend, we've been trying to find a solution to the problem, but unfortunately, we haven't succeeded. This weekend, we have problems with the car. Even in such a situation, I wanted to get the most out of the car, but it was just very slow."
