Jolyon Palmer: Ferrari will win a race this year
With ten rounds remaining in the season, Ferrari remains the only team among the top four without a win. Former driver and F1 TV pundit Jolyon Palmer named the circuits where Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will have the best chances to fight for first place.
Jolyon Palmer: "After the Canadian round I said Ferrari would win a race this year. I continue to stick to that view, because there will be circuits ahead that suit their car.
At least at the Hungaroring they had pace, but during the race they struggled to make it to the finish because of too aggressive a ride-height setup. But by doing that the team demonstrated that it adheres to an aggressive approach in the search for pace. Thanks to that Charles Leclerc started from pole at a circuit that, in theory, was not among those that suit the car.
I don't think Ferrari will be quick at Zandvoort. I'd be looking to Monza and Singapore – at those circuits Ferrari will have the best chances of victory thanks to the slow corners."
