Hadjar would be interested in moving to Red Bull in 2026.
Last week in Zandvoort Isack Hadjar reached the podium in Formula 1 for the first time in his career. On Thursday in Monza the Racing Bulls driver answered a question about whether he considered himself ready to move to Red Bull Racing.
“At the start of the year I was asked if I was ready to move to Red Bull already this season,” Isack Hadjar replied. “My answer hasn’t changed since then — no, because I don’t see the point of doing that right now.
But 2026 is a completely different story, because the team will be starting from a clean slate. There won’t be any talk of a second car then, because the car will be new to everyone, and the team will be in a position where it has to develop it in the right direction. So yes, I would be interested.
Of course I keep that option in mind, and I have to show in the remaining nine races that I can do my job well. If, however, I keep getting worse each weekend until the end of the year, nothing good awaits me. In any case, I’m not in a hurry to sign a contract for 2026.”
