Hadjar: Catching Williams is difficult, but not impossible.

In Monza, Racing Bulls drivers Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson found themselves on the back foot in the battle among the midfield teams. Nevertheless, they both expect to step up on Saturday and fight to advance to the qualifying final.

Isack Hadjar (11th): "Even before arriving in Monza we knew the fight in the middle of the pack would be very tight. My hunch proved correct — it will be hard for us to catch Williams, but not impossible.

At the moment we lack pace, but I think we can fight to advance to the qualifying final. We know it's difficult, but we haven't lost hope of then fighting for a few points on Sunday."

Liam Lawson (17th): "Today's practice sessions were tough, with minimal gaps, but we worked hard to get everything out of the car. Today we were a bit short on speed, but the team will draw conclusions and improve tomorrow.

Between the first and second sessions we adjusted the setup expecting improvements, but things didn't go according to plan. The team will continue working to optimize the car before qualifying. There's still a lot to do, but I hope we can fight to advance to the final."
