George Russell: "Today is a new day, and strategy will play a very important role in the race. At Monza the straights are very long, and overtaking here isn't easy, so I hope we can come up with something and do things differently from our rivals. I hope I can fight for the podium.
The start is very important, and since we'll be competing with Charles Leclerc, who is very quick on this circuit, I'll try to get past him as soon as possible. Choosing the right moment to make the pit stops also plays an important role — we'll see what we're able to do.
Monza is a very high-speed and demanding circuit, and when you approach Turn 1 at 340 km/h you have to brake at exactly the right moment, and overall it's very difficult to put a good lap together here."
