Verstappen, Mekies and Marko visited Red Bull Powertrains

Next season, the cars of the Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls teams will be fitted with power units jointly developed with Ford. Preparations are in full swing, and on Thursday Red Bull Racing's management visited the powertrain division. The delegation included, in addition to Laurent Mekies and Helmut Marko, Max Verstappen. Red Bull Powertrains' head Ben Hodgkinson gave the reigning world champion a tour of the facility in Milton Keynes. The team hopes Max's appearance will provide additional motivation to Red Bull Powertrains staff. Earlier there were rumours that Red Bull's power unit would be significantly down on power compared to its rivals, but those have died down in recent months. However, only the first tests in January 2026 will clarify the true state of affairs. In addition to visiting Red Bull Powertrains, Max Verstappen visited the team's base, where he reviewed the Italian Grand Prix and addressed staff.
