Helmut Marko: Hadjar is a very fast guy.

      Red Bull motorsport adviser Helmut Marko indicated that Isack Hadjar has a strong chance of becoming Max Verstappen’s teammate in 2026. According to Marko, the French rookie this season has all the qualities to successfully compete in the same team as the four-time world champion.

      Helmut Marko: “Hadjar certainly has the psychological resilience to stand up to Verstappen. He doesn’t make mistakes, which is fairly surprising for a newcomer. Isack progresses at every circuit – he only needs to do a few laps to start showing pace, regardless of whether he has driven here before or not. He’s a very quick guy.

      Basically, when it comes to allocating cockpit seats for 2026 we want to choose from our pool of drivers. If a super talent appears at another team, we won’t turn a blind eye to that, but at the moment no such driver is visible.”
