With eight races remaining in the season Sauber sits eighth in the Constructors' Championship, but is only seven points behind their Aston Martin rivals in sixth. Gabriel Bortoleto hopes his team can close that gap.
Gabriel Bortoleto: "Baku is definitely one of the toughest tracks of the season, as it is a street circuit and requires a low-downforce setup. I hope we can fight for the positions we've been fighting for in recent races. It's nice to fight for points, because such results give confidence to both the team and to me.
If we do our job well, we can deliver the results we should be delivering. On the track it's important to extract the maximum from the car, to do everything in our power.
I hope we can show everything we're capable of and fight for sixth place in the Constructors' Championship by the end of the year."
