The Haas rear wing deflected more than the permitted 0.5 millimetres during a load test, which breaches Article 3.15.17 of the Technical Regulations. Technical Delegate Joe Bauer reported the breach to the stewards, who must decide on the penalties. In this case it concerns the exclusion of Esteban Ocon from the qualifying classification.
