Pierre Gasly: We're far from the form we're aiming for.
The Alpine team sits last in the Constructors’ Championship and is unlikely to claw back the 26-point deficit to Haas F1, but still hopes for a more positive result in Austin…
Pierre Gasly: "Obviously we are far from the form we are aiming for right now. But I believe better days are ahead, especially given that there are still six races to go and several circuits that suit our car better, and then the 2026 season, which we are looking forward to with hope.
In Singapore we made some changes to the car to gather data on its current performance, and we noticed some anomalies in that data, which is very important. Now we are heading to Austin hoping for progress.
The week after Singapore was busy. On Tuesday and Wednesday I worked on the simulator in Enstone, preparing for Austin and the next races, and then I spent a day in Paris with BWT and the rugby players of Stade Français. I always learn a lot from hearing about the specifics of performing in other sports.
Then I took part in the opening of the Alpine Atelier in Paris. I feel great and am fully focused on the upcoming weekend with a Saturday sprint at an interesting circuit that should suit our car better."
Franco Colapinto: "The recent races have not been the easiest for us, but we are not giving up and continue to work, and I keep learning with every outing on track.
I’m sure there are races ahead at circuits that better suit our car. I will do everything I can to score points this season.
There were positive moments in Singapore. I had a good start and was involved in several duels during the race, but the car lacked the speed to fight for a place in the top ten.
Last week I spent some time in Enstone to review the weekend and prepare for the upcoming races. The Circuit of the Americas in Austin is a great track for racing, and since this will be an event with a Saturday sprint I will be able to take part in two races. There are always a lot of Argentinians among the spectators here; I hope to give them a reason to be happy with a good result."
