      Pierre Gasly (13th): "I'm very pleased with the result in sprint qualifying. The past weekends have been difficult for us, we haven't been able to put up a decent fight with our rivals, but the team worked hard and we managed to make progress. We always want more, but we can be satisfied — we have a good starting point to continue the fight.

      In the sprint we need to try to get the best possible start, gain a few places, and then we'll see where we end up. As always, we'll try to improve with each session."

      Franco Colapinto (17th): "Not the smoothest day — one practice wasn't enough to solve all the problems that appeared, but there is a feeling that the car is capable of more than the result I showed in sprint qualifying.

      The car lacked grip on the track, especially at the rear wheels on acceleration, and at the end of the first part of qualifying the wind picked up, which made the situation even more unpredictable.

      But we'll see how it goes on Saturday. You can fight and overtake on this track, and the main sessions — the main qualifying and Sunday's race — are still ahead. In the sprint I'll do everything to fight back and gather as much information as possible about the car's performance."
