      Carlos Sainz (9th): "I'm more or less happy with the car, especially considering I missed the first session. We need to work more on the setup before tomorrow's third practice, but overall the session went well.

      On Saturday we should be aiming to reach the final part of qualifying, but to do that we have to execute it perfectly. We'll see if we can find a way to gain some performance in the evening while working on the car — the task is to continue making gradual improvements."

      Alex Albon (19th): "Friday was not easy because we had some setup issues. Also, the track is slippery, so it took time to get up to speed and to complete a number of proper laps.

      We still need to work on the car and analyse everything with the team. If we sort a few things out by tomorrow, I think we can prepare well for qualifying."

      Luke Browning (18th in the first session): "I really enjoyed getting back behind the wheel of the FW47. It was my first time working at this track, so with each lap I became more comfortable and tried to make the most effective use of the practice time.

      It seems the pace on the hard tyres was decent — we were then the fastest of the rookies. The results on the Mediums weren't as good, and unfortunately we didn't run the softs at all. But the long runs went fine, and that's what the team will need on Sunday.

      My main focus now is preparing for the final two rounds of the Formula 2 season, and I hope I can win the title in Abu Dhabi."
