Norris: I'll try to score as many points as possible in São Paulo
After his victory in Mexico, McLaren driver Lando Norris has reclaimed the lead in the drivers' standings. At the São Paulo Grand Prix Lando aims to score the maximum number of points, but his teammate Oscar Piastri is aiming for the same.

Lando Norris: "I'm happy to be back racing at Interlagos. Race weekends in São Paulo are always fun, and it's nice to be in the city itself. Also, the weekend is run in a sprint format, so I'm aiming to score the maximum number of points.

Last week I returned to Woking with the team. We debriefed the double-header of rounds, and I worked on the simulator to prepare for this weekend. I'm in good spirits and can't wait to get back on track. Let's go!"

Oscar Piastri: "In Brazil we'll have a great opportunity to score a lot of points, given the sprint. There's still plenty to do, and the preparation for the weekend has been very positive.

I like this circuit with its elevation changes, long straights and tight corners. Also, as usual at this track, you have to keep an eye on the weather."

Andrea Stella, Team Principal: "It's time to head to Brazil for the São Paulo Grand Prix. The 2025 season is approaching its conclusion, so it's an exciting time of year. We're proud that both of our drivers lead the drivers' championship, one point apart. However, we fully understand that we have a very strong rival in the title fight — it's no coincidence he is the current and four-time world champion. Our team will make every effort in the remaining four Grands Prix to secure the title.

In Mexico the MCL39 was the fastest car, but you shouldn't assume the same will be true in São Paulo, as the competition is very close. We will continue to stick to our approach — moving forward race by race, extracting the maximum speed from the car so our drivers have the opportunity to fight for leading positions.

Also, we face a sprint weekend, which opens up additional opportunities to score points. At the same time we need to pay even more attention to the details to find the right car setup, given that we'll only have one practice session at our disposal.

As usual, in São Paulo we are preparing for unpredictable weather, which often proves to be a decisive factor at this circuit."
