Russell: McLaren will struggle in Vegas

      George Russell: “If I excluded Mercedes from the equation and tried to guess who will win this weekend, I wouldn’t bet on McLaren. I think McLaren will have more difficulties at this track than usual.

      In Canada and Baku they didn’t make the podium, and this track has similar characteristics in terms of cold, type of asphalt, C5 tyres and, of course, low downforce.

      Baku is similar to Las Vegas, but surprises are always possible, and I think that right now the difference between the teams at the end of qualifying is very small. If you manage to put together an incredible lap in qualifying and start from pole, that will change everything. They’ll be up there somewhere, but I think Red Bull probably has a better chance here.”
