Komatsu: It's important to have a productive training session.

Haas F1 hope to perform well in Qatar and hold on to seventh place in the Constructors' Championship...

Aio Komatsu, team principal: “There are two final rounds in the Middle East ahead of us, the first of which is a weekend with a Saturday sprint in Qatar. There’s a close fight in the Constructors’ Championship, so it’s important to have a productive Friday practice to earn the points that matter to the team.

We’ll face very different conditions to Vegas, and a sprint weekend places additional restrictions on tyre usage. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to maximise our potential in the final stage of this incredible season.”

Oliver Bearman: “The track in Qatar suits our car much better; I’m really looking forward to this weekend. These cars come alive on tracks like that. Also, it’s a weekend with a Saturday sprint, which means an extra opportunity to score points. We’ll give it our all for the remainder of the season.”

Esteban Ocon: “We’re heading into the second race of a run of three consecutive events, and it’s great that it’s in Qatar. Conditions will be completely different from Vegas, and with a weekend featuring a Saturday sprint it’s important to make the most of the only practice session.

This week we have two chances to score points that are very important for the team. We will do everything to perform well at the penultimate round of the season, where the battle in the Constructors’ Championship remains intense.”
