Alan Permain: In Shanghai, we are facing challenges of a different kind.
The Racing Bulls team is preparing for the Chinese stage of the season – it is the first one that includes a Saturday sprint, and this brings special challenges.
Alan Permane, team principal: "The week in Melbourne was intense, but the team handled it confidently. We learned a lot about how our car works and the new technical regulations that come into effect in 2026. We also know that several innovations tested in Australia proved to be very effective, and now we look ahead and confidently await the next technical updates.
This week in Shanghai, we will face challenges of a different kind, as the weekend program includes a sprint. We will have only one practice session to check the cars and power units, but I have no doubt that together with our colleagues from the Red Bull Ford Powertrains engine division, we have prepared well, having done a lot of work on the simulator.
We analyzed the issue that arose with Liam Lawson's car at the start last Sunday, fully understood its causes, and are confident that it will not happen again."
