Kolapinto: Soon the car will become even faster

      At Alpine, serious expectations were linked to the new regulations – and they really managed to improve. The team scored points in the first two races, and on Thursday in Suzuka, Franco Colapinto was feeling optimistic.

      Franco Colapinto: "I am glad that this year we are fighting for higher positions than in 2025 – it really adds confidence. Everything has changed for the better this year, the new car is much more competitive, we have gotten closer to the other teams.

      Even more optimism comes from the confidence that soon the car will become even faster. I am looking forward to the continuation of the season and hope to consistently earn points.

      A new weekend, a new track – everything will be different in Suzuka. During practice, we need to understand our weaknesses and what we need to work on to prepare the car for qualifying and the race."
