The Alpine driver was weaving between turns 14 and 15, while Max Verstappen was closing in behind him. The team warned Franco about the approaching Max, and the Argentine driver stopped weaving; however, he remained on the racing line and impeded Verstappen, who had to abort his fast lap. For such actions, the stewards issued a warning to Franco Colapinto.
