Nico Hülkenberg: The battle this weekend will be fierce.

      On Friday, Audi faced some issues – on Bortoleto's car, the gearbox had to be replaced, but the team positively assesses the results of the day…

      Nico Hülkenberg (7th): “Good Friday. I worked through both sessions calmly, we did everything we planned, creating a good base for further work. With the chosen settings, the car is working well, so far everything is quite positive.

      In the midfield group, the results are very tight, even tighter than in the first two Grands Prix – the competition this weekend will be fierce. Today we created a good foundation, we will analyze everything in the evening and determine our direction for tomorrow’s work.”

      Gabriel Bortoleto (16th): “An ambiguous Friday. The morning session went smoothly, but in the afternoon we discovered a problem and decided to carry out a preventive gearbox replacement. I lost a lot of time in the pits, but the team handled it, preparing the car and getting me back on track by the end of the session – I want to thank everyone for their efforts and hard work.

      I still managed to complete a few laps and gather useful information, we will use it and continue to work in the same spirit.”
