Damon Hill: "I know that some drivers don't like slowing down to recharge the batteries, but I find the races in 2026 very interesting, especially because a new factor of tactical competition has emerged.
Drivers have to think about how to effectively use the available energy, plan their moves, which in my opinion adds to the excitement. We've seen overtakes followed by well-thought-out counterattacks, which doesn't happen very often in our sport.
I liked Piastri's performance in Suzuka. After missing out on the title last year, Oscar is determined to make a comeback. It's nice to see that McLaren has improved – their participation will add intrigue.
