Tsunoda will conduct Pirelli tests behind the wheel of Red Bull.
Today and tomorrow, Suzuka will host two-day prototype tire tests for the Pirelli tires for the 2027 season. The tire manufacturers will be working with slicks, and this time the cars and mechanics will be provided by Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls. Red Bull Racing confirmed that on one of the test days, Yuki Tsunoda will take the wheel – this will be the Japanese driver's first appearance behind the wheel of the current Red Bull car since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2025.
